Quite possibly the cabin on our island is larger than the town's Terminal.

The town, founded by Icelander immigrants boasts the largest recreational and commercial (fishing) port on Lake Winnipeg.
Being just one hour north of Winnipeg,
definitely has a cottagy, touristy vibe.
Along with the motorsports,
getting reacquainted with The Glider...
these waters produce Canada's finest pickerel.
