After John and Carol's trans Canada flight, Kate and I joined them @ YYZ and we all continued on to Munich, Germany. On arrival, thanks to Carol and John who organised our first couple of days, we headed to Lindau, Germany.
I think we all trip advise to stay at the Hotel Engel.
Great place to start our trip and end our day.
Lindau's reputation as a summer destination for lakeside fun didn't stop us from enjoying our stay.
Not a lot of those dam tourists around, or for that matter, Nobel Prize winners who annually congregated here for some think tanking.(we hope)
Today we head to our first ski destination, Ischgl, Austria.

Double checking our routing. Here if you get on the incorrect train you can end up 100 kilometres in the wrong direction in fifteen minutes.
Disappointed that it took only two hours.
