THE MARCH TO SOUTH LAKE TAHOE. NEMYS CYCLING THE SIERRA NEVADA.

SEPTEMBER 04,2016
DAY THIRTEEN

We've obviously enjoyed the ride into Markleeville.
Our ride out of Woodfords and over Luther Pass will be our last hoorah for a while.
We just today will collectively ascend and descend somewhere around 7,500ft.

Here we not only enjoyed this little tourist town and it's helpful visitors,
("oh YA!! there a couple of big climbs on route"),
but a great little lunch. ENJOY!

We're gambling on making it to South Lake Tahoe.

Six out of six.

Truckee will be for another day for Hyla and I.

I'm even getting tired writing about our climbing. Here we enjoy the moment on top of Luther Pass.
Even better with congrats from some locals who can first hand, sans gear, appreciate the horrific pain and suffering we put ourselves thru.
A famous president was once quoted:
"We have nothing to fear but Luther Pass itself":
hell ya

(The best teachers I've ever had are failure and regret)

Now for a celebratory decent into town.
Easy. Riders.

Our lady of bloody brake bias,
don't fail me now!
