AUGUST , 2012
Finally made it to Hornby Island and to John and Carol's. Not finally as at the end of my bike tour, but finally as in they have been there for quite awhile and this is my first visit. These images are over my stay of their place. The observatory and much more Hornby next.
(Thank you for your patience.)

Anderson Drive, Hornby Island, BC. CANADA |

This is a home. The table was rarely without baking and more. |
The house is laid out well as the front, this eating and the living area behind the photographer, look out towards the water. Just across the laneway. |
Local oysters. Slurp, slurp. |
Salmon. From across the street, one kilometre out, fifty meters down. |
Decked out. BC style. |
After being three weeks on the road and occasionally (and happily) eating at the local gas bar, homemade, as always, is the best! Thanks Carol! |
I have already one cat in my life. |
John and Carol's close friend Dave. |
A heron takes the occasional roost in the neighbouring cedar. |
Can't remember what this is, but everything was GOOD. The BEST ever were the local fresh figs thanks to Dave and his hosts. |
The loft. Was going to post a shot of the guest room but it's a mess. It's got ALL this bike stuff strewn about. Maybe I can clean it up. Please stand by.
COMING NEXT: OUT AND ABOUT HORNBY. |
