Day Eight
We will today ride into, via the less popular south entrance, Yosemite National Park. Here as we pass through the park we will spend four nights.
The first two ahead in the famous valley.
Routine for our travels, some climbing before descending to the valley at approx. 3,500ft(?)
On route we will pass the old Wawona Lodge.
Golf course and all.

Up till now we haven't been meeting a lot of cycle tourists.(looking back at the country we have been riding through, no surprise. By the end, much including this two week portion with Nicola, seasoned cycle tourist expressed their "wholely @#$%" when they digest where we have been riding'. We've earned our cred.) This couple was doing a credit card tour. Light with the gear. Heavy with the VISA card.
Little did Hyla and I know at the moment that based on their advice, seemingly irrelevant at the time, how it will, positively, impact our lives further up down the road.
Our lives being positively impacted as to eating awesome pizza in Eugene, Oregon.
(In case I forget and you shouldn't, we went to study what to eat at the:
Pizza Research Institute.

A couple of days from now we will ride out of the valley and continue to pass through the park via the cut just evident across the valley below.

Lots more of the park ahead, including one of the most astonishing, thou not surprising sights I've ever seen.
