KOTOR, MONTENEGRO, DAY TWO

When Kate and I left 2412 we had our first two weeks in Germany and Austria pretty much laid out. We also had a flight from Munich, Germany to Athens, Greece booked. Other than our return via Venice,(i am actually writing this in the Frankfurt airport having just landed from Venice.) that all we knew for sure. Our plan after Greece was to push up the Adriatic Sea and visit any Balkan country we may pass.

One of those countries that happened to be on the map was Montenegro. Admittedly unknown to us.
Didn't need to dig too far into any one of the "Loney Planets" go to reference sites that we determined, considering our close proximately in Dubrovnik, that we had to go.

A little hard to see here but our access was through Croatia which borders Montenegro.

And go and enjoyed we did.
Have more on how soon but here we immensely love the historic, UNESCO town of Kotor.

Here we hike up to the old fortress and get a pretty dammed good look around.

Stick around for a lot more.
You might be as surprised as we were.

I thought I saw BORAT.
