NEW ZEALAND - DON'T HAVE A COW HOLIDAY, MAN

FEBRUARY 20, 2013

After our lighthouse inspection, we continue south heading to Low Camp 2.

Cows on holiday. Don't call us. We'll call you.(the cows on the far left have been ostracized for saying one to many times "are we there yet"
Ground beef.(on holidays)

Of the four million people that live in New Zealand, three million live on the North Island (leaving one million people to inhabit the South Island, a piece of land the size of great Britain).
Not sure what percentage of that four million are Maoris, but ninety percent of them live on the North Island. Of that population, the majority live in this area. (now you can challenge someone to trivial pursuit)
After all that, and all the beautiful architecture and history we've viewed and driven by, all I got was this one lousy photo of their culture. (it is a wood carving with a heavier paint)

Still getting use to the Southern Hemisphere.

NOW COMING: THE EDGE OF TIME
