Franz Joseph Glacier, South Island, New Zealand
We have been more than fortunate to experience some true New
Zealand nature. Remote, serene. Powerful in it’s subtlety.
Our visit here could possibly be the start of some more notable
South Island “Attractions”.
If I would feel homesick, here I would just close my eyes and
listen to the helicopters overhead ala Niagara Falls. (just as many times we ask the same question, my
response to where we are from is NF. National clarification when required)
They wouldn't let us get to close which was fine. Glaciers tend to be dirty.
