NEW ZEALAND - HEADING SOUTH

FEBRUARY 25TH, 2013

More heading south (hope we don't forget to stop) and one more night before we cross Haast Pass, heading towards Wanaka and Milford Sound.

Not the best photo but we have travelled by kilometres evident of the country's huge timber industry. Ahead is some clear cutting. Very evident is the management programs of re-forestation. Seen some HUGE, southern pine, logs being hauled out of beautiful forests.

Greenstone. Much revered in Maoris culture. Here the lady explains to Kate that much of the jade today comes from British Columbia. What the #$%^?

 Guess what's in Possum Pie.

RIGHT!

When you wish upon a stone
Makes no difference who you are
Anything your heart desires
Will come to you
