NEW ZEALAND, CASCADE CREEK - ROUTEBURN TRACK, KEY SUMMIT - UP THE CREEK TO THE SUMMIT

FEBRUARY 27, 2013

Just twenty kilometres till Milford Sound, camp time.
We fall asleep listening to the creek cascading.

On route out of Te Anau we pass New Zealand's most famous tramp.

Next morning we break camp and head the up the road for a quick tramp.

Today we will do a small spur off this famous track. MUCH more on enjoying the Routeman later.

 Heading to Key Summit

After two weeks of relentless sun, a morning of the much famous Fiordland weather was fun.
When we got to the top we had good views of the top of the fog as apposed to the usual look from underneath.
Our missed out panoramas will come later.

NEXT - DOWN AND ON TO THE SOUND OF MILFORD.
