1960 - Nemys head to Bar Harbour, Maine, USA

This recent heat wave had me thinking of our trip to India and one in 2005 were we travelled with the girls to the northeast coast of the USA. Of all places we had stiflingly hot weather in Maine, particularly Bar Harbour. Got me thinking of, in more ways than one, cooler times.

Mom's arm around John, John's arm around me. I think I didn't want to get involved.
JOHN NEMY, PAUL NEMY

My guess would be Acadia National Park.
I can picture, with this ride, taking in the sights sprawled out in the rear window well.

"Because it's there"
Mt. Washington Cog Railroad. The boiler of the locomotive is designed so as to be level on the incline.
Seven Drawfs Motel. New Hampshire. I still love motels.
Still open today.

Lets go!
What was in this parking lot you might see today at Barret-Jackson. Might need 50K each?
I'm pretty sure this is a phone booth. I'm pretty sure you would need a pocket full of coins to call home.

Coming soon: BLACK DAY in JULY
