RIDING THE BEARTOOTH SCENIC BYWAY, WYOMING - PART ONE

JULY 23, 2012

This section of road is averaging about 8,000 feet above sea level.

My "Newest Bike" seems like it will serve me well. It's back to
the basics and that's what cycling is all about.
GONNA RUN WHAT I BRUNG.

The first guy that rode across America did it on a Penny Farthington.
High roller.
Cycling. What a way to see a country.
After riding for an hour, my suspicions are correct. This road either
goes up or down.
This is part Lewis and Clark country.
Here the Nez Perce Indians are
recognized for their assistance.
Cooke City is at the bottom of this hill. Hope I can get her stopped so I don't miss breakfast! I here they have flapjacks.
