ABOARD THE NORTHERN RANGER ON THE LABRADOR SEA

 Again due to the make-up-time schedule, our next stop was Hopedale, at the cold hour of 04:30. 

 Here at better times, (as in when we should not be sleeping) a visit to the historic Grenfell Hospital would have been worth while. The good Dr. Wifred Grenfell did so much for these people of coastal Labrador and Newfoundland over one hundred years ago that his legacy still holds HIGH.

 Quick off, back on........ 

 load her up and lock her down........

 fire up the boilers.....

......and back to a warm bunk.

.....as them there icebergs on the horizon.
