Finding it hard to believe that it’s been seven years since our cottage starting going up and six summer seasons that Kate and I have been endeavouring to bring it to some semblance of complete. (I use the word “work” with reverence as one would be hard pressed to find a nicer place to do so) Not sure if it will ever be “finished” but we sure are proud (surprised, confounded, amazed,….) of how far we’ve gotten. In the next series of posts we would like to share with you some images of our beautiful hideout.
OUR LIVING AREA
One of the greatest things about our cottage is that from most any window is an amazing view. Now add one of the few pieces of furniture that Kate and I have been dragging across Ontario the past forty years, a old lazy boy recliner. With Kate’s tender patchwork it sits in one of our most amazing corners. Have a seat and look west out to Georgian Bay and we bet that in any given hour you will see a image that will match any screen saver thats out there.
Pictures don’t do it justice!
