Hello. Finding it hard to believe that it’s been seven years since our cottage starting going up and six summer seasons that Kate and I have been endeavouring to bring it to some semblance of complete. (I use the word “work” with reverence as one would be hard pressed to find a nicer place to do so) Not sure if it will ever be “finished” but we sure are proud (surprised, confounded, amazed,….) of how far we’ve gotten. In the next series of posts we would like to share with you some images of our beautiful hideaway.
Considering how much time we enjoy being in the kitchen, we couldn't be happier how it's turning out.
Still need to finish the counters and Kate's working on some fun wooden fishing lures for the pulls on the drawers and cabinets.
Kate sure is the painter but I sure am not the cabinet maker, but my close enough measuring tape sure worked out.
Log of spice.
Not sure the seasoning.
Just give it a spin and...........
When you come up all that we ask is that you catch a fish.
Then we can use Hyla`s excellent, both illustrated and fish crisp recipe.
