CAMP BLACK DOG.

With the road being as entertaining and quiet as it is,  we've found a corner with a view and it's own resident dog.

Add to list of what rental cars are good for.
Crash barrier.

While we enjoyed a ski slope terrace up on the mountain, we took advantage of the time, lots of it, and ordered supper.

We have written that this country is a run with dogs. Many appear without masters. This adds to the puzzle of why and how many seem so tame and obedient.

Black dog here seemed to rule this section of road.
It seems to be the responsibility of the general population to randomly feed and offer canine care.
An unopened beer left roadside will go great with some left over sandwich a passerby just tossed from the window of a passing truck.

Well once again the mountains have taken my breath away.
(Not a good sign. It was when I was eating)

December 21, 2016

 Good morning.
So today we will pretty much wrap up our first month in south America. We're off to Santiago and then continue our migration south, ultimately to our prime destination of Patagonia and eventually to the edge and end of the Americas.

Please join us down the road.

We're going to be home for the holidays.

Home is where we are, señor,
home is where we are.
