NAVIMAG FERRIES. PUERTO MONTT TO PUERTO NATALES, CHILE. DAY FOUR. NEMY, KATE PABLO

January 09, 2017

We rise to our last day. This afternoon we will end our voyage in Puerto Natales, Chile.

Contrary to our Northern Hemisphere ways, here as we continue to travel further south, we encounter colder climes and environment.

Our last presentation will be of value to Kate and I and to many of the other passengers.
Its a briefing on Parque national Torres del Paine where many of us are heading.
We thank Percy again for sharing his enthusiasm and compliment him on his passion towards the country.
A passion that is fuelled by its beauty but also it's struggle in maintaining a slipping balance between man and nature.

With the miles and meals nearing an end , optimism is high to a successful end to the voyage.

To mix up the endless on deck looking out photos, I tried a different perspective on nature and will post soon on:
PORTHOLES:OUTSIDE LOOKING IN.

Hope this is and isn't my last meal.
Its pretty bad every time you end a meal and yell:
"THERE SHE BLOWS"
(I'm not even going to expand on the fact that most travellers were horrified to face their meals sober)

Ever since I've boarded I've had this hankering for this chocolate bar. Can't remember if it's called
Mutiny or Bounty???

Home these days is where we are.
BOTTOM BUNKS

Increasing naval traffic is indicating we are getting close to port.

 Puerto Natales

Our travel pattern has us using a number of our destinations as jumping off points for numerous adventures. Puerto Natales will be no different. Over the next few weeks it will see us off off to a quick visit to Argentina and then back for a regroup before we head to Torres del Paine National Park.
Then back again and thru as we continue south.

Coming next: Mountain time.
