GETTING HIGH. GEORGIAN BAY WATER LEVELS.
This is a pretty arbitrary measurement that I've placed just to gauge whats happening day to day.
(The last one washed away)
One rather significant indicator of what the water levels have done over the past fifteen years is that this device sits on four bolts that are embedded in a concrete pour approx. six inches below this current water level.
That secured once, get ready,......
a diving board.
JUNE ELEVEN, TWENTY TWENTY
After experiencing record high water levels over the past couple of seasons,
this day we saw in a span a two, three hours the water rise and receded over one foot.
Never before in our thirty years have we seen anything close to where it peaked out today.
