PARIS TO ANCASTER 2014, ANTHONY CLARK, JEREMY POWERS, JAM FUND, PAUL NEMY - A GAY PARIS?

PARIS TO ANCASTER BICYCLE RACE
APRIL 27,2014
ONTARIO, CANADA

You would think that there is much to write about the day that the past few days have been about.  With so much action leading up to this, lets just take a look at some race day pics and leave all the race reporting to the already great articles on-line.

Race to the start line
In his reigning kit, even the current USA Cyclocross champion has to load his own bike on start line express.

Missed the V.I.P. bus. No problem.
They saved the back of the bus for U.S.A. guests.
(I was studying the emerge exit carefully in the event my American guests were given
"The WAR of 1812"
reception.

Bye my new friend. You might be long gone back to Mass. by the time I see the top of Martin Rd.

Jeremy and company proved to be GREAT ambassadors of all things cycling, .......

KEEP SMILING!!!

Nice show Tim & John!!!!

 Serious business time.

Niagara Paul's hoping to do justice to the St Catharines Cycling Club colours

Mic Guy -"Jeremy, we heard so many good things about your host in Niagara. Could this play into a win for yourself, or possibly another JAM rider"

J. Powers - "UNDOUBTABLY. ALMOST GAURANTEED!!"

JAM FUND rider Scott Smith sporting the CLIF/SRAM/FOCUS kit.

 MORE COWBELLS PLEASE!

J-POW style. Off the front @ the gun

 End of the start.

Beginning of the finish.
 WINNER
(Hey Fabio. How about this for your next romance novel cover )

 Hell of a job Anthony!!
More than happy for you.
Will keep some floor space empty for next year.

 Didn't make my PB.
Fell a bunch of times.

Did reach goal.
WENT HARD
HAD FUN
and

RODE the WHOLE of MARTIN ROAD!!!!

The End

COMING NEXT - GOING NORTH. NO. I MEAN WAY UP NORTH. WE'LL CHECK ON NICOLA'S NORTH OF THE ARTIC CIRCLE POSTING. (Guess what time the sun sets? Go ahead guess.)

PARIS TO ANCASTER 2014, JEREMY POWERS, ANTHONY CLARK, JAM FUND, PAUL NEMY - NIAGARA FALLS & PAUL'S

 Map my Ride.
How about heading down the road to one of the wonders of the commercial world,
Niagara Falls.

What do I do the day before I have a larger ride marked on my calender. Take full advantage of the opportunity and try to put my feet up as much as the day will allow. This day I'm glad to do a little cookin' for our guests and us and beyond that do small things all for my P2A cause.

If you are all things Pro and trying to head that way, you go out to ride a 100k's or so.

Thanks for the invite but being thankful and having survived the preride yesterday is my omen to go low today.

Tune Time
Pit stall 350 Kilman Rd.

Scott has Kate's bike behind him. Next in line for a Hi Performance tune.

Glad for a change I took the garbage out this week.

Just in these short couple of days I've taken a liking to all our guests.
I've enjoyed sitting with Anthony (I sat. Anthony paced.) and talked all things life, cycling, tricked out minis,...
I've enjoyed Anthony's candid comments on how he's involved in a very complicated relationship....

........with himself.

WHAT!!!!!!!

Anthony appears to be as much as possibly attentive dad with calls home and other things caring.

 Boys and Girls.

Trying to take a picture here.

Work with me please.

Here we go.
 Ladies and Gentlemen
Your Jam Fund riders.
Alec Donahue, Anthony Clark, J-Pow, Caitlin McCarthy,
Scott Smith

When I was arranging Jeremy and the gang's visit, I did mention that I have yet to have a winning house guest.
Roger Hammond and Jonathan Page's visits were fun but neither was able to hoist P2A's glass cobble.
Here with five riders in total staying, maybe I have a dark horse staying in the guest wing?
(I said dark horse, not black....)

The boss keeping things light with the "look down here, wait a minute, wait a minute,....

OK Onward
The actual falls @ Niagara is nice but my recommendation is:

1) The Hilarious House of Frightenstein
2) Go for Funnel cakes
3) Madame Tousands. You haven't seen nothin' till you've seen Tom Cruise in wax.
4) Canadian Ballet (sorry Caitlan)

COMING NEXT - WILL IT BE A GAY PARIS TO ANCASTER?

PARIS TO ANCASTER 2014, ANTHONY CLARK, JEREMY POWERS, PAUL NEMY, DOMESTIQUE CAFE

Friday, April 25

After our ride we were invited by race organisers Tim F. and John T. to this must stop for any cyclist.
Here we will meet and eat, greet and eat, eat and eat,....
Picked a bad night to break my P2A diet.

Cafe Domestique, Dundas, Ontario, CANADA

Go there1

Could possibly the 2014 P2A's top three women be in this photo?
We'll just have to wait and see.
Could possibly the capped JAM Fund Catlain M. ride the strong ride that her roomies say is there.

I'll have  one of each please.

To hell with finding Nemo. I'm into eating Nemo.

Tour of Bronte race organiser Chris K. Empty plate not for long.

The seem to always be ever friendly 2014 USA National Cyclocross Champion Jeremy Powers sharing a laugh with long time cycle supporter Norbert.

JAM Fund Director Sportif Alec is TRYING  to set the example by pouring a tall H2O.
That is correct. Water.

Here Anthony Clark is telling Tim and guests that if he wins he is going to do a transmission repair on his host's troubled Acura.

YA! I'm gonna drop that badboy out and, "REBUILD!!"

Some eager listeners to some "J-POW"

 J. P. keepin' a eye on his charges.
Sorry. TOO LATE!
Bad News Bears have already broke training.

Everybody should have one of these JONNY BLONDE food trucks parked behind their house.
GREAT!!! things come out of the sliding door.

 OH!!!

 Some Belgium Import.
That's the podium potential type of import.

Thanks for the hospitality John!
Now try one of these.

Anthony C. keeping everyone amused with his "Tasmanian Devil" impersonation.
Spot on!!

 The Magic Food Bus.

The blogger with some of his house guests.
Turned out to be not the usual quiet Nemy weekend.
WHAT!!!!
Yes. EVERYONE is invited back.

I brought our gracious host, Kyrs Hines, another jersey for his wall.
This was presented to me in 1988 by our men's Olympic road race squad for helping them out during a Niagara stay.
