NEMY COTTAGE. BAYFIELD INLET. EATING TABLE AND MORE.

With still a little more spit and polish, a feature bench,......
our (and could be yours) eating table.

The logs supporting the end and beneath are from a White Pine that we were force to cut down to make room for the cottage.

We are still planning to cut this cookie in half and insert them in the logs.

The beginning of what will be our coat rack. We'll be using various antlers we've collected. A couple from deer that we found around our home on Kilman Rd.

We will also incorporate a Buddhist Prayer Wheel that we brought back from Nepal.

A island on an island.
Black Walnut slabs complimenting the eating table.

Still to be properly framed, puzzles will wrap it up.

mmmm, bacon!!!!!!

NEMY COTTAGE. BAYFIELD INLET, ONTARIO. FIRST BEDROOM

Here are a few pieces that we've recently added to the bedroom puzzle.
(Doing the corners and edges last)

Thanks to Patty's help, our now postered closet door is a rollin'.

Have a seat.

The Hudson's Bay Company had a coat of arms coat.
Kate's salute with a socks of legs.

NEMY COTTAGE. BAYFIELD INLET. ONTARIO. OUTDOORS

Kitchen cabinet doors in progress.

Never really had the seemingly obligatory cottage flag pool till..........

The seemingly endless pursuit and delivery of building materials and supplies.

Probably one of our least exciting, exciting additions so far this season has been a washing machine. Not overly cottage romantic but hey, life, sometimes dirtier the better goes on.

NEMY COTTAGE. BAYFIELD INLET, ONTARIO. SECOND BEDROOM

Our ode to the Parry Sound and district logging heritage.
Being the prominent species, we've carried on the tradition by using White Pine as our feature wood.

The "Cub"by bed.

Harvested from down the channel, Kate de-barked these White Cedar logs that feature in the steps to the loft.
The steps were reclaimed from down the channel as well.
Kate couldn't decided on just one colour.

The loft bed.

Currently in progress, Kate is working on two stained glass panels that will serve as interior windows.
