TRANSIT OF VENUS
Considering I was working on the removal of a ceiling and looking up anyways, thought I'd take a quick look at the transit of Venus. Glad I listen to the radio and learned the significance of the event. I couldn't get over the how it was!
Maybe when I see it in my next life, I will impressed.
How did these people years ago figure this stuff out?

Kate and I have been growing Shitake mushrooms in our valley for a while. They pop up as randomly as can be. Was home for the weekend and found these. They are a very meaty and wonderful fried in a little butter and salt.
