PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND, CANADA - POSTCARDS FROM THE EDGES OF P.E.I.

DAY THIRTY FIVE
SEPTEMBER, 2013

BACK ON THE ROAD TO THE not so WILD EAST.

P.E.I, CANADA

After time on the islands of Newfoundland and Cape Breton, we felt uneasy during our passage on mainland Nova Scotia and bolted to Prince Edward Island. Our main reason being, in a few days, we will catch another ferry to the islands of Isle De Madelaine.

Might as well do a little exploring while we are here anyhow.

Was now looking for a large pot to wash up on shore. (and a couple of those plastic bibs, butter, .....)

CAPE BRETON HIGHLANDS, CABOT TRAIL, CORNEY BROOK CAMPGROUND, NOVA SCOTIA - ROLL THE CREDITS PLEASE....

JIMMY PAGE, ROBERT PLANT, MOTHER AND SOLAR NATURE.........

AND NOW FOR OUR FEATURE PRESENTATION.

There's a feeling I get when I look to the west,
And my spirit is crying for leaving.

There's a lady I know who's sure all that glitters is gold

When she gets there she knows, if the stores are all closed

With a word she cant get what she came for.
There's a sign on the wall but she wants to be sure
'Cause you know sometimes words have two meanings.
And a new day will dawn for those who stand long,

And the forests will echo with laughter.
In a tree by the Corney brook, there's a songbird who sings,

Sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven.

Dear lady, can you hear the wind blow, and did you know

Your stairway lies on the whispering wind?

And as we wind on down the road

Our shadows taller than our soul.

There walks a lady we all know

Who shines white light and wants to show
How everything still turns to gold.
And if you listen very hard

The tune will come to you at last.

When we all are one and one is all

To be a rock and not to roll.

In my thoughts I have seen rings of smoke through the trees,
And the voices of those who stand cooking.

And she's buying the stairway to have fun.
