LE PETIT TRAIN DE NORD. RAINY RIVIERE ROUGE TO MONT LAURIER, QUEBEC. CANADA

June 26

After a good breakfast and a forecast of moderate temps we’ll balance out the challenging weather with one of the more scenic and well paved section of the ………….. After a  night in the tent we slog along making excellent time knowing a dry hotel room awaits. Wether it be for navigation, when safe to listen to some media, we travel with phones neatly tucked in our handlebar bags made by our cycling extraordinaire daughter, Nicola. Thanks!!!!

After a great rest day, here we continue north on the      , targeting in approx. fifty kilometres, Riviere Rouge. After a couple of nights of rooming it, we’re up for some camping, but the unsettled weather forecast might have us keeping an eye out for some extra “Gimme” shelter. We continue to be very impressed with both the trail itself and the services on route, being ice cream.

DAY EIGHT. PART DEUX

We’ll take full advantage of both the beautiful day and trail in continuing our way to St. Jovite, Mont Tremblant. We don’t want to rush but we are looking forward to our planned next day off. The much developed tourist region will offer sufficient culinary options to assist in our recovery program.
