BUENOS AIRES NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE, ARIZONA. USA, CAMP MORNING. DECEMBER 17, 2022

DAY THREE MORN. DECEMBER 17, 2022

The cold overnight resulting in an crazy brilliant sky  made for quick stargazing during our nature calls.

We’ve quickly have gone from adopting our surrounding creatures by becoming cold blooded back to hot coffee toasty hot.

The sub zero temps made for a much appreciated warming sunrise and porridge.

Snow Frost tires.

Coffee water and honey was a little chunky this am.

Beautiful rise and beautiful shine.

Just the coyotes and us.

BUENOS AIRES NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE, ARIZONA. USA, DAY TWO. CAMP. DECEMBER 16, 2022

The Wildlife.

The Wildlife Refuge being primarily a wilderness area offering primitive camping, we will tuck ourselves just off our route and settle in for what might be a cold night. Since our arrival In Tucson, Arizona we’ve been having beautiful warm days followed by cold nights. Now to figure this out, three sleeping bags, two cycle tourists?

Something stovetop.

SHAKE, SHAKE, SNAKE?

Mt. Kitt with a barely visible observatory in the distance.

First of many border controls.
We will end right at the Mexico border. The light traffic is mostly agents on the hunt.
