Boungiorno.
Welcome to Italy.
We will spend three nights in Venice.
Gives us time to look into few things.
Have been wondering how the Grand Canal compares to the Welland Canal.
Would also like to find the Merchant. I think the name is Merchant of Venice.
(we've already seen some heavy hitter fashion houses, jewelry, watches,....
They even have here a Spiffanys)
Lets start by just taking a quick look.
What would Piazza San Marco be without pigeons?
During our travels we have connected to various travel blogs, pod casts, travel "you tube" videos.....
Many with great tips and endless streams of information.
Here we even tucked away a little hint from
Rick Steves that's worth sharing.
If you perchance happen to get shit on by a pigeon, regardless where it might land, its OK to walk around with it on you for a couple of days.
Let it dry and then it will the easily chip off as apposed to smearing a fresh one immediately in horror and panic.
