NEMY FAMILY COTTAGE. BAYFIELD INLET. GEORGIAN BAY. ONTARIO. CANADA

Thanks to the Stair Masters.

Lets get some final measurements for the gable end trapezoids.

We're missing some views.

We do get our share of fair weather here but there are times when the best fun is watching some black weather roll in form the bay.
Electrical storms at night.
Priceless.

The arrays for the new cottage that is just hiding to the left.

One, of our two arrays, on top of the cabin seems a little dwarft by the new install.

To optimise as many functions as possible, here is our combination grey water pit and unceremonial blogger burial ground.
We've opted out for now on a complete septic bed. The washhouse will have a new composting toilet.
Our sinks, shower and me will filter out here.
I guess it was made for shit!

We were planning and hoping to do a little more natural small log railing for the deck.
For now and the building inspector, this will have to do.
(seems like the list for "after we get the occupancy permit" grows.)

These walls are starting to separate the bedrooms and living/kitchen area.

Home for now and the past twenty five years.

The Dance of the Fascia Aluminium.

The Argentinians had a name for it that escapes me now.

Didn't really come across anything that Tim and Aiden couldn't do WELL!

Blogger at work.

We are closing in on the sad reality that our crew will very soon be signing off.
Here Kate is at work sealing our exposed pine boards over the deck and her hair.
Ever see the movie "Hairspray".
Our sequel "Varathane"
(i'm not even going there with my hair looking and feeling like a half destroyed burlap welcome mat for already sometime now..............

All work. All play.
