Pagosa Springs
We spent yesterday soaking at this resort that has something like twenty different pools at various temps.
With mostly around 100F+, good fun on a winter's day.
But today we hit our our eighth and last ski hill.
We almost a month ago should have started here as they had more snow even before we left than most resorts currently have.
COLORADO CONFIDENTIAL
Wolf Creek, by most people we have meet since being in Colorado, including the ones we've met today speak of and cherish the hill for the "less and more" value.
Less amenities (condos, intrawest.....) and more natural snow than any other hill in the state.
With it being tucked away in a less travel part of the state, the "less" and "local "crowds are also a big part of the appeal.
Wolf Creek
DON'T SPREAD the WORD
With the sun coming on strong, and some hurt in our legs, no better way for Kate and I to end our ski portion of our trip.
Thanks Colorado.
Thanks Colorado.
After such a great day, no little rock slide going to slow us down on our way to New Mexico.
