We've primarily come South by Soutwest to tour (and eat our way through) the Hill Country in central Texas.
Travel as we will, Austin provided us with some unscheduled music plus some amazing urban riding.
Hearing good things about some great inner city trails, San Antonio has delivered (which I generally try at most means to avoid "Multi use paths") some of the best bicycle friendly city riding I've ever done.
We picked up a twenty mile trial the starts downtown at The Alamo(later) and connects five other historic missions.
I need not write to those who cycle, tour, travel and at the most opportune times, come the most opportune rewards.
