The mighty Danube River. |

Our train into Bratislava was just a ten minute walk from Peter and Helga's.
They themselves live about a forty minute drive out of the city.
The Bratislava Castle held a number of museums.
Both celebrating and extolling it's troubled past.

Respectfully lunch will see us enjoy two of Slovakia's most traditional dishes.
Bryndzové halušky. Potatoe dumpling serve with a soft sheep cheese and roasted bacon and a bread based dumpling stuffed with meat.
We stayed here with Nicola and Hyla during our circa2005 visit.

Good luck rub.

High marks from us to this and any city and country that offer cheese vending machines.
