We targeted Banska Staivnica before we realized that Peter and Helga's cottage was nearby.

Being lovers of wood,
we have and will continue to be impressed with the beautiful log structures we've seen.
Very much including Peter and Helga's place.
By the end of our trip, Slovakia with be right up there with any country we've traveled to that features wood in construction.
This includes Canada.
Even coming from Canada and cottage country,
quite impressed with the lake and how natural it's been kept.
