I don't even know
what today is less lone
whenever this was
sometime a month ago!
Ladies and gentlemen,
boys and girls,
going over niagara paul's
is proud to present:
Fira, Santorini by day.
OK everybody listen up.
I would like to write this only once and don't feel bad if you don't know because we barely did ourselves till we got here.
If you have ever seen those iconic pictures of Greece with the blue domes and blue water and all the beautiful people,
it probably was taken on the island of Santorini.
Possibly in the main town of Fira,(look at map now, then look back here)
but most likely in the town of Oia, top of map and island. Oia is pronounced Oia.
We will visit both.
The island is the remains of a volcano. Notice I didn't use the term extinct. If you have a volcano phobia, or for the matter one of earthquakes, ignore the fact that part of the town is situated cliff side, you might be kissing your ass goodbye either sliding down into the caldera or ending up blasted to an adjoining island, thus saving you ferry fees.
Now you have read them all:
National Geographic
Canadian Geographic
and
going over niagara paul's Geographic
Greek. Go figure.
This is a sign of what might be the most translated and important phrase in the modern world.
"Close the door. The air conditioner in on."
With the hot properties hanging in the caldera, we have a nice spot just a minute out of town and what is just starting to be cruise and crazy season.

I have no idea in hell and don't want to waste my time time googling this guy, but this "friend" is part greek. Looks like this was green screened.
Nicola, who is this guy?
Looks creepy.
Can't remember which one was which, but looks like either Bevis or Butthead
My guess it would be Butthead.
Isn't Jennifer's hair beautiful.
I need some hair care products

Stayed tune for "Fira by night". Pictures are much better. Captions can't be any worse.
