CORFU, GREECE

We've always have found that part of the fun of travel is the chase.
Where to go. How to get there?
Where to stay?....

With so many services on-line today, I wonder how it was all possible just a few years ago.
Let lone how these people manage to find some of the destinations we've just recently visited.
Some over two thousand years ago.

Including our tour of the Southwest this early winter, we are now closing in on "living" on the road and water for over four months. With that we are becoming quite astute at finding accommodations well suited to our needs of the time and place.
With so many on-line sites, we are quick to scour our now favourite sites for available accommodations and other services.
Our travels have been primarily off season so price, as in low price, have been our value point to start.
Hey look! Room is cheap.
That's good because so are we.

Please ignore that there is a McDonald's below our hotel because otherwise I'm going to have to write on and on how its rare that we come across a McDonald's and how it its just an unfortunate coincidence here and it is quite subtle that it doesn't take a way from all the great things that I'm trying to convey in this post.
Thank you for your understanding.

Our accommodations in all of our Greece travels have been of great value for us Canadian travellers.
Here in Corfu for Cnd$50.00 the room meets and exceeds any thing anyone, us, would expect.

The view is worth one million.
That's one million dollars Canadian.

Our early arrival in Corfu gives us chance to enjoy our room and balcony before we go start to explore the town

Not from our room. We have to get out once in a while.

Wait a minute.
Lots of water but no boats. Gas for boats, but no...

If it all seems nice now, join us for the afternoon  when the coffee crowds stream in and fill the streets and plazas.

Will you join us for a espresso?
