Early stage of our lighting and pot hanger frame for the kitchen. We will hang pendant receptacles over the work areas, sink, stove, butcher block,.... The light shades will be a random collection of discarded Kentucky Fried Chicken buckets, maple syrup pails, Kawartha Dairy ice cream tins (got lots of those),...
We've added to the collection, but we have to thank Hyla who originally cut and carved these saplings locally for a project that had been put on hold.
It is the same stock that are showing up as dresser drawers handles and the like.
We've had an amazing run of things going our way right from the approval of our permit.
Kate and I love our wood cook stove.
Unfortunately we are dealing with an issue of approvals before we can connect that we are currently sorting out.
Fortunately our amazing weather has not warranted any fires that we always look forward to.
Oven
Firebox.
Mean while between our new propane cook stove and the BBQ we are certainly not lacking cooking power.
To keep our owl company, we will be building a nest for Ospreys in the centre of the frame. Hopefully to attract back the once common bird to Georgian Bay.
We will be hoisting one of these units over eating area as well. It will be centred, along with drying spaghetti, by Kate's Tiffany lamp shade that hung in our house in Ridgeville.
