This, plus many amazing un-captured, is the view from our bed. This time of year the sunrise is our alarm clock to start the day. As it has been on occasion, the moon rise to signal lights out and a tug of the blankets.
With the 360 degree panoramic views, we feel that every night we are staying at the "Best Western" and Eastern, Southern and Northern.
Kate continues to insulate. Here the loft is taking a little longer as she stops quite often to admire the view.
We found a great deal on this "cottage grade" log panelling at a lumber mill just north of the French River. Keeping in the local history of the white pine industry, we will panel a good portion of the interior living and eating area.
Perhaps with a slight colour wash to pizazz the place up a bit.

For over twenty five years washing anything pretty much meant heading down to the bay with buckets in hand.
With our plumbing completed, including hot water, washing dishes has never been more enjoyable.
That's a good thing because not only do we have to do some cleaning, I've got to put some pants on because we have company coming.
