Hi Paul,
My Dad built us a Lola for the soapbox derby that we entered every year. Every year Dad built a new car.
The car that Dad build was released from a huge (seemed huge) ramp and we had two turns to navigate.
Dad bought expensive soapbox derby wheels from somewhere in the USA and had them
shipped to Mississauga. The steering was with ropes that wrapped around a wooden cylinder - Dad made
with no plans.
The trophy we won was for “style” for the car design.
Looks like Jackie Stewart’s car?
