PETER AND HELGA DINGA, BAYFIELD INLET, FROM SLOVAKIA TO THE GREAT WHITE NORTH

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2012

We will have had a short island stay but have managed to show off a small part of what we call OH CANADA! After a Sunday morning brunch at the best table around, we slowly headed back to home port.

 .
Canadian breakfast.

At the end of the week, Peter and Helga will be flying to British Columbia to visit John and Carol.  With the help of my t-shirt, started giving them a preview of Hornby Island, Vancouver and Fanny Bay Oysters. Don't forget some Indian Candy Smoke Salmon.

Shipping out. Sad but everyone is invited back!

Can I borrow a couple of Loonies.

 Made it back!

British Columbia boats and bikes still coming.

PETER AND HELGA DINGA, BAYFIELD INLET, FROM SLOVAKIA TO PAINTED ROCKS

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2012

Close to our island are the locally famous Painted Rocks. A rather stunning kilometer and more of exposed Canadian Shield. A much deserving part of UNESCO's Georgian Bay Biosphere Park.

Very Canadian. EH

PETER AND HELGA DINGA, FROM SLOVAKIA TO BAYFIELD INLET, ONTARIO

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2012

After a rather wet drive up north, we were lucky to have a dry boat ride in. So nice to have guests who are at home with our nature. Bayfield is a special place to us. Best shared with other lovers of the outdoors. At least  we haven't seen any bears or snakes. YET!

Island sunset.

Nice hat!

Seafood Surprise Supper. Shrimp. Scallops.

We have become good friends. Not only do we share a like for the outdoors, but any guests that share our epicurius adventure get an automatic invitation back.

 Trying to catch some supper.

STARTING  SATURDAY
Dutch Oven French River Toast Breakfast.

Is the water 20C or 20F??

The sun has come out.

Lunchtime. Took photo from a different angle of us eating.

PETER AND HELGA DINGA, ANN NEMY, FROM SLOVAKIA TO NIAGARA on the LAKE

SEPTEMBER 12, 2012

Everybody must visit Niagara-on-the-lake at least once. Some people visit it many times. Always beautiful, especially if you need a hat, or some chutney or some ice cream. Wait!!!!! We forgot the ice cream. Will have to go back next visit.

 Where are we going?

I thought Peter didn't like shopping. Here we are at Stonechurch Winery.

Doughnut with a side salad. Or is that a Quiche?

George Bernard Shaw keeps an eye on all visitors.

We Canadians like to celebrate war. Is it 200yrs already.
