Viewing the map below, John and Carol are in the middle of a an amazing little triangle that encompasses two Provincial Parks, this one being Tribune Bay, and one Whaling Station Bay.
Sandy beaches are generally not the norm along the British Columbia coastline.

There are no swaying palm trees, but this is still a Pacific Paradise.
You are not here,
but John and Carol are close to Whaling Station Bay.
