BAYFIELD INLET, ONTARIO - ICE HIKERS, ED AND MARY ANN LESLIE, THE WAANAKIWIN WAY, 2014

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 29TH, 2014

As if ordered, our snowy weather breaks and we head out on a neighbour watch.

Here we are coming up to the Leslie's new project.

 Smoke break. KOOLS

This dock ladder only reinforces that it might be awhile before we're back in the water for more log-rolling practise.

 Waanakiwin

Should have brought the canon for some avalanche control.

Best guess that the kitchen cupboards would be bare made all the more reason not to risk getting buried for the sake of closer inspection.
All looks well besides a glacier moving through the bedroom wing.

I think we use the snowshoes next time

 Not one mosquito. So far.

Looping behind the Leslie's, we came across some moose tracks that could not have been more than a couple hours old

Out to the main channel and some more exploring next.

Even then we will have to keep an eye on the clock. Lunch is serve only till 3:00.
