Here we've packed up camp Crater and will literally, for miles and miles, head down the road.
Right from day one with Nicola from Bakersfield, California, we have ridin' every mile thrown at us.
Here we don't want to upset SugarBear and gladly accept a ride in the pilot car.
(I'm sure, including Nicola, all would agree, why couldn't they have been reconstructing the road up to the top of Sequoia park!!!!)
I love talking to construction crews.(plus the rest).
On the job in the park for most of the summer, just one story was of the fires that passed thru, and closing, the area not that long ago.
Looking back up to our lasts evening's perch, Watchman's Point.
As we slowly leave the park we again cross the PCT.
Hiker's H2O re-supply.
Dutch cycle tourist sporting his country's national colours of orange.
Today's directions.
At the bottom of the hill, turn left.
Another in the Summit Series.
Not that we won't be having our ups and downs, but from here we will be gradually losing elevation till home.
Switching to glide.
Chemult, Oregon.
Love these towns.
Still lots of spit. I mean real living man and woman's spit.
Little off on the polish.
I don't write enough what great partners I started and remain with.
Everybody seems happiest with less than more.
Here after a string of camping,(I can't write this too often, as in not at all) we've taken some of the FINEST accommodations that Chemult offers.
We've scrubbed ourselves, our clothes and now will take full advantage of basic cable after having visited the gas station/grocery for our night in!!!!
