Indy winner.
I find on my phone pictures that our father took, with John and I in tow, of Jim Hall during the Players 200, Mosport Park, Ontario, Canada.
1965.
Here the late and broken down Bruce McLaren eyes the No.66 of Jim Hall.
Hot, hot laps.
Doing a Hap Sharp.
I cannot begin and won't write how this period of the Can Am challenge through the years of the late 60's and 70's epitomise to me one of the greatest in so many ways the excitement,
(earth shattering. @#$% you Formula E)
of motor racing.
Great place, isn't it? We were there for the gallery opening in 2004. Would love to go back some time. Glad you had the experience of seeing it all in person. Keep your speed up!
ReplyDeleteBelieve me, I’m as much of a fan of 60’s racing as you - maybe more - but there’s no point in getting hot under the collar about what the future holds.
