SEVILLA, SPAIN. TAPAS

What possibly started out as a ‘small plate covering your glass of Sherry between sips ‘ (so as to keep the flies out) the cuisine of Tapas have become a prized culinary export of Spain.
Even reaching as far as Kingston, ON.
We’re thrilled with the locale of our accommodations as it has placed us in the middle of the everyday life of Sevillians. This very much includes gatherings of friends and families spilling out of the tavernas onto the narrow streets, mostly for the customary mid afternoon tapas lunch or perhaps their late supper.
With our agreeable weather, all standing outdoors around small tables sharing these small plates.
Most engaged in animated conversations.
Most toasting and sharing in this traditional Spanish social scene.

Traveller’s note: Especially in Mid-America, don’t go to a place that advertises Jumbo Tapas.
