Second week of March
We're second door down and up.
Since booking Portugal and then shortly after our arrival, the grip of Covid19 seem to capture all the news, including here.
A few days after our coming, it seemed that Lisbon slipped into a ghost city over night.
With still relatively few case being reported in the country, the international travel component so prevalent in the district we were in resulted in us opting for the trending "isolate".
After exhausting our options of a quicker return to Canada,
we were quite comfortable being comfortable in our little flat.
With a tiny kitchen and a TV with as many English channels as we've seen since Gibraltar,
we were happy with a quick daily excursion to the nearby cubby of a grocery store and then remain in.
Oh, there was also one other daily stop of rather significant proportions.
Coming next.......
