Finding it hard to believe that it’s been seven years since our cottage starting going up and six summer seasons that Kate and I have been endeavouring to bring it to some semblance of complete. (I use the word “work” with reverence as one would be hard pressed to find a nicer place to do so) Not sure if it will ever be “finished” but we sure are proud (surprised, confounded, amazed,….) of how far we’ve gotten.
In the next series of posts we would like to share with you some images of our beautiful hideout.

ReplyDeleteWe have heard so much about your lovely labour of love cottage and the island. We have seen a few pictures over the years but these latest pictures are extremely beautiful. I can see why you are so proud of it.
Sometime we would love to see it in person.
We hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Just a note dad's whole floor at Fairview nursing home has come down with covid except for two of the residents.
It has been most stressful not being able to see him in person. We will keep everyone up on his progress. We all have had enough sadness this year. Hopefully he will gain some strength and get some energy back.
