Here we will dig into the travel bag of ways and pull out some walking, a subway, bus and eventually taxi as we transfer from Santiago one hundred kilometres west to the coastal city of Valparaiso.

Other than literally getting off in the wrong city of Vina Del Mar, ten kilometres down the coast and a rather ominous taxi ride that we will share later, we will spend our first night just enjoying the view from our apartment.
Our initiation, thankfully via taxi, will leave no doubt that we've come the city of hills.
How many? Go ahead and guess.
With a large portion of Chile's armada stationed here, not sure if we should feel safer or part of the bulls eye.
(tensions between Chile and it's arch enemy, Bolivia, seemed to have cooled like our perfect evening breeze.)
