WHITEFISH, MONTANA, U.S.A.

JULY 25, 2012

Our travels have brought us to this high plains mountain town. It is one of the nicest NEW old towns we have past through this trip. Surrounding the town is Glacier National Park, a ski resort and what looks like limitless opportunities to raft, kayak and be outdoors. We enjoyed some window shopping and stocking up for our visit to Glacier

Can't hit the road without Breakfast. They had eggs and a slot machine.

We haven't seen much dangerous wildlife up till now.
Ski runs in the distance. Any town that has a hardware store right next to a place where you can by a pair of designer cowboy boots for seven hundred bucks, I like.
Still dealing with some pretty hot weather.
Nice patio supper. Dress code, active sports wear.
This was and still is a rail town. Like so many parts of the west, you came by train first. There's
nothing like a train horn. Where they going?
