We have successfully transferred from Munich to Athens.
Here we will enjoy the city till we sail of in the distance to some Greek isles.
Our modest hotel has delivered large on its downtown location and most importantly a teasing view of the Acropolis.
Here the Parthenon is visible on the horizon.
Where we going' to eat?
Our enjoyment over next few days and nights, and then upon our return from the islands, will project this city close, if not, to the top of our BIG city like list.
The Acropolis, in the top of this picture, is beautifully illuminated and visible from where the action (food) is.
The "tourist" areas will prove to be some of the nicest people, pedestrian and food friendly we've ever visited.

With the church bells ringing and a Acropolis view, Athens has delivered well on our first impressions!
