Having been involved in the construction of two of our homes and more so coming from an industry of supplying building materials and components, we have a general concept of whats involved in time and dollars to get something built back on the mainland.
For as long as we have owned the island, over twenty years now, I've thrown away all concepts of mainland procedures and protocols in regards to getting anything done on the island.
Where at times the water access and isolation is our greatest treasure, they becomes factors of variable consequence during construction.
Kate and I do have to give a huge thanks to the people at The Weather Channel as well.
Here I catch my last ride of the year.
Little easier said than done, with the windows on site, its just the installation and a little more boarding up and we will be good for the winter.
Thompson Marine.
Thanks for the ride and the amazing job guys.
See everyone in 2017!
