Couldn't of order a better day for a ice walk about.
This building, and I do use "building", has now been replaced with our just new cottage,
and I do use
"cottage".
and I do use
"cottage".
Without a kitchen proper, for over twenty five years on the island we've cooked exclusively outside on a two burner cook top. For once in a very few (winter) visits, being refrigerator-less is not a problem today.
Hauling our usual buckets of water from the bay today not so much.
By 2011 we would slowly be getting new neighbours just down the channel from us.
Ed and Maryann Leslie.
They will have this taken down and replace it with a new cottage.
As at time in the summer we will not see a sole for days.
Here the dots on the horizon are snowmobile's.
Sled safe my friends.
Sled safe.
Since 2011 we've removed this building and replaced it with our new cottage.
Over the twenty five years we've vacationed on the island, we've only used it intermittently and never in the true sense of a cottage.
Had more of late 60's light industrial plaza feel to it.
Without ever having a range and oven, we've become quite creative cooking on the wood stove or as the summer has it cook top and campfire.
Well done.
Well done indeed.
Resting up for dinner.
Can't quite remember what I was reading.
Possibly something like:
Live fast,
Die young,
Leave a big fat corpse.
Lets see whats for supper on Part five of six.
