BAYFIELD INLET. WINTER 2011. PART TWO OF SIX

February 25, 2011

In safely, we'll take a quick look around.

Very much notable to someone who writes this in 2018 is how LOW the water levels were back then.

Our swim dock is down there somewhere.

What we have found in all of our winter trips in is that regardless how bitterly cold it may be during some stretches of winter, there always seems to be some open water or soft ice.

Our new cottage(2016/2017) stands now in place of the building shown here.

We bought the property in 1992.
The cabin was constructed in 1958.

Undoubtedly happy to find our cabin all in tacked.
Without a top bunk partner we can't say we're high, but very dry and most importantly snuggled and warm.

We'll need our rest as we have some pretty serious eating to do tonight so as not to risk.....(I've run out of excuses to eat)

If there was any reason to get off the pot.........minus ........centigrade will do it.

Pre-dinner tramp.

Please join us for supper on part three of six.
