Our first leg today was a 90k ride to Wawa.
What we have here is 30k push to Lake Superior Provincial Park and camp.
The oldbird needs a little Tremclad.
I hadn't seen the girls all day.
With their excursion into Wawa for supplies and my riding through, we meet up for the ride into the park.
In the warm distance,
a wildcat did growl,
two riders were approaching,
and the wind began to howl.
I was there.
Old Women Bay.
Old friends being women from the Tour du Canada group.
Kristen and Hyla have been cris crossing paths with this gang since western Canada.
After 122.5 k's I was especially happy to be with and follow the girls because I had been looking for Pigs in a Blanket lake.
Stay tuned for as little did I know at this time there were going to be blankets.
Wondering about the rabbits?
Checking into camp, here Kristen is clinching her fist and ready to hop the counter and knock some stupid out of this temp part time summer job junior ranger that seemed to have a problem understanding why we're there, let lone himself.
No snacking!!
Blankets for breakfast
The "Tour du Canada" group had a interesting international mix of people. Her Kristen and Hyla get updated from this nice lady that calls home a split between the USA and Italy.
"There will be a lot of complaining that today was too hard, but
the winners
never complain."
